Imam Hussein Mosque

The Imam Hussein Mosque, located in Khan El Khalili area in Cairo, is a significant religious site for Muslims, especially in Egypt. Originally built in 1154 AD during the Fatimid period, it has been renovated several times, most recently in the 19th century by Khedive Ismail. The mosque is believed to house the head of Imam Hussein, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It is an important destination for worshippers and visitors alike.
