Palace of Amir Sayf al-Din Bashtak

Built between 1334–1339 CE by Amir Sayf al-Din Bashtak al-Nasiri on part of the former Fatimid Eastern Palace on Mu’izz Street, the palace features grand architectural elements: a reception qa’a with four iwans, ornate wooden ceilings, a polychrome marble fountain, mashrabiyya screens and stone insulative walls. Only partial remains survive today.
