Coptic Museum

The Coptic Museum, located in Old Cairo near the Hanging Church, was founded in 1908 and houses the world’s largest collection of Coptic Christian artifacts. The museum showcases manuscripts, icons, textiles, stone carvings and woodwork that document the artistic and cultural heritage of Egypt’s Copts from the 3rd to the 19th century.
