Saint Barbara Church

Saint Barbara Church, located in Old Cairo near the Coptic Museum, is one of Egypt’s oldest Coptic churches. Originally built in the 5th century AD and rebuilt in the 11th century, it is dedicated to Saint Barbara and houses her relics in a side chapel. The basilica-style church features wooden screens, marble columns and rare Coptic icons.
