Housed in the former royal stables in Boulak, Cairo, this museum originated in the late 19th century under Khedive Ismail and was converted into a museum after 1952. It displays exquisitely crafted royal carriages from the Muhammad Ali dynasty—including the famous "Alay" carriage gifted by Napoleon III in 1869—and related artifacts like riding accessories, royal uniforms, and portraits. Few museums worldwide specialize in such collections.
