Pharaonic Village

A living-museum in Giza opened in 1984 by Dr. Hassan Ragab, the Pharaonic Village lets visitors step back in ancient Egypt. Actors in period costumes reenact daily life—farming, pottery, papyrus making, sculpting, mummification—while replicas of temples, a tomb of Tutankhamun, and canal-boat rides complete the immersive experience.
