Al-Andalus Garden

Located on the Nile Corniche in Zamalek, Al-Andalus Garden was built in 1935 by Mohamed Bey Zulfikar during the reign of King Fouad I. The garden spans ~9,000 m² and is divided into three thematic sections: the Andalusian (Arab-Andalusian style southern part), the Pharaonic northern part, and “Al Jazira” area. It features Moorish arches, fountains, trees over 70 years old, statues (including of poet Ahmed Shawqi), shaded walkways and terraces with Nile views. Recently restored and declared the first registered Islamic & Coptic heritage site in Egypt.
