Muhammad Ali Mosque

Located inside the Cairo Citadel, the Mosque of Muhammad Ali is one of Egypt’s most iconic landmarks. Built between 1830 and 1848 in Ottoman style, it features a large central dome, slender minarets, and ornate interiors. It was commissioned by Muhammad Ali Pasha in memory of his son, Tusun Pasha.
