The Mahmoud Mokhtar Museum is dedicated to the works of one of Egypt's most celebrated sculptors, Mahmoud Mokhtar (1891–1934). Established in 1962, the museum is located in the heart of Cairo, adjacent to the Cairo Opera House in the Freedom Park. Designed by architect Ramses Wissa Wassef, the museum houses over 85 sculptures crafted from materials such as bronze, stone, basalt, marble, granite, and plaster. Notable works include Mokhtar's iconic "Egypt's Renaissance" statue. The museum offers visitors insight into Mokhtar's artistic journey and his contributions to modern Egyptian art.
