6th of October War Panorama

The Panorama of the October War, located in Nasr City, is a memorial-museum commemorating Egypt’s victory in the 1973 war. Inaugurated in October 1989, built with assistance from North Korea, it features a cylindrical building with dramatic 360-degree murals, dioramas, outdoor displays of tanks, aircraft, weapons used during the war, and multimedia shows. Visitors begin outdoors, then inside see war scenes in rotating theater, films, murals, and galleries of Egyptian military achievements.
