Farouk’s Corner Museum

Rokn Farouk Museum, also known as Farouk’s Corner, is a former royal rest house built in 1942 by King Farouk in Helwan along the Nile. Designed to resemble a boat docked on the riverbank, the three-story building includes a basement (servants’ quarters and kitchen), a main floor with dining rooms, smoking room, terraces with Nile views, and upper floors housing royal bedrooms, halls with paintings, rare dolls, statues, and replica furniture (including pieces honoring Tutankhamun). It was fully renovated and reopened to the public displaying major royal memorabilia.
