Saint George Church

Saint George Church, located in Old Cairo within the Babylon Fortress, is a Greek Orthodox church originally built in the 10th century AD and rebuilt in 1909 after a fire. Dedicated to Saint George, it stands out with its round architecture, stained-glass windows and impressive dome. The church also features a shrine containing relics of the saint and remains an important pilgrimage site.
